  • Here’s a list of the top Canadian fighters with the most UFC wins.
  • Georges St-Pierre leads the list with 21.
  • Patrick Côté is in the second spot with 10.

Canada is an established hotbed for great UFC fighters who made a name in the leading MMA organization in the world. These world-class athletes also authored some classic fights that went down in history and amassed the most wins under the Dana White-headed promotion.. Leading the list of Canadian fighters with the most UFC wins is Georges St-Pierre.

St-Pierre is regarded as the country’s MMA GOAT and is hailed as one of the best fighters to set foot inside the Octagon. His six-year title reign in the welterweight division cemented his status on the Mount Rushmore of the sport, alongside Jon Jones, Demetrious Johnson, and Anderson Silva. But aside from “Rush,” who are the other fighters out of Canada who have chalked up the most wins in the UFC and provided excitement in UFC odds?

Georges St-Pierre – 20 Wins

After making his UFC debut in 2004, Georges St-Pierre appeared in 22 fights, only losing two before officially retiring in 2017. He is one of the nine UFC fighters in history to capture two titles in two different divisions. He won the welterweight title in 2007, secured the middleweight title in 2017, and retired as the highest-paid Canadian UFC fighter ever.

St-Pierre holds the second-most wins in the 170-pound division with 19. His other win came in the middleweight division. The welterweight GOAT piled up wins against notable names like Frank Trigg, B.J. Penn, Matt Hughes, Matt Serra, Dan Hardy, Jake Shields, Nick Diaz, Johny Hendricks, and Michael Bisping.

Patrick Côté – 10 Wins

Côté and St-Pierre entered the UFC in 2004, but Côté started his career in the light heavyweight division before slowly moving down in weight. He fought across four divisions in the UFC and recorded 10 victories. He also had a year of UFC hiatus from April 2011 to April 2012 before returning to the promotion.

“The Predator” scored his first UFC win in February 2007 when he unanimously beat Scott Smith. Since that triumph, he added nine more wins to his record, with notable wins over Drew McFedries, Ricardo Almeida, Joe Riggs, and Ben Saunders.

Sam Stout – 9 Wins

Sam Stout was once a top contender in the lightweight division. He made his UFC debut in March 2006 and scored a unanimous decision win over Spencer Fisher. He previously competed in other fight organizations like TMAC, ICC, and TKO before finally earning his spot on the UFC roster.

After that win, Stout lost five UFC fights before adding eight more victories with wins over Per Eklund, Matt Wiman, Joe Lauzon, Paul Taylor, Yves Edwards, Spencer Fisher (trilogy fight), Caros Fodor, and Cody McKenzie. “Hands of Stone” ended his UFC career with three successive defeats.

Rory MacDonald – 9 Wins

Another Canadian fighter who has nine career UFC wins is Rory MacDonald. MacDonald was a teammate of St-Pierre in TriStar Gym and was supposed to be the next UFC welterweight champion.

He made his promotional debut in January 2010 and submitted Mike Guymon. Since then, he has won eight more fights with stacked opponents, beating the likes of Nate Diaz, B.J. Penn, Jake Ellenberger, Demian Maia, Tyron Woodley, and Tarec Saffiedine.

“The Red King” also challenged Robbie Lawler for the welterweight title in July 2015 but fell short after a fifth-round TKO loss.

T.J. Grant – 8 Wins

Wrapping up the list of Canadian fighters with the most UFC wins is T.J. Grant, who competed in the lightweight division. Grant also fought in 11 UFC bouts but won eight of them. Grant may be unable to contend for a UFC title, but he’s still one of the most exciting fighters, as he bagged two Knockout of the Night awards and a Fight of the Night award.

His three losses were courtesy of Dong Hyun Kim, Johny Hendricks, and Ricardo Almeida. Meanwhile, Grant’s wins during his tenure with the Las Vegas-based promotion were against Ryo Chonan, Kevin Burns, Julio Paulino, Shane Roller, Carlo Prater, Evan Dunham, Matt Wiman, and Gray Maynard. Despite his remarkable record, the Fit Plus representative failed to secure a title shot.
