- Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are the only players in franchise history to be named both an NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP.
- Antetokounmpo has the most points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and games played in franchise history.
- Abdul-Jabbar has the second-most points in NBA history.
Some of the best players to ever step onto a basketball court have played for the Milwaukee Bucks, which has helped them earn two NBA championships in franchise history.
Today, led by the number one player on my list, the Bucks enter each new season with solid NBA championship odds to win it all.
It took 50 years for the Bucks to win their second championship, but a lot of talented players came and went during that time period.

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo
Giannis Antetokounmpo came into the league as a raw, skinny kid, but he has since earned two MVP Awards, a championship, a Finals MVP, a Defensive Player of the Year Award, and several All-NBA Team appearances.
Giannis GOES OFF for 33 of his 50 points in the 2nd half, fueling the @Bucks Game 6 victory en route to their first NBA championship in 50 years!

Still under 30 years old and in the thick of his prime, Antetokounmpo has plenty of time to add even more accolades to a résumé that will not only get him into the Hall of Fame one day but also solidify him as one of the greatest players ever to step onto a basketball court.
2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Heralded as one of the greatest players of all time, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar averaged over 30 points and 15 rebounds per game in his six years in Milwaukee. He led the Bucks to their first-ever championship in 1971 while earning the Finals MVP Award.
Abdul-Jabbar was a three-time MVP and five-time All-NBA team member with the Bucks.
3. Oscar Robertson
Widely known as one of the greatest point guards to ever play and a perennial triple-double threat, Oscar Robertson spent his final four seasons in Milwaukee.
“The Big O” helped bring the Bucks their first championship, and he also earned one All-NBA selection during his time in Milwaukee.
4. Sidney Moncrief
Sidney Moncrief spent a decade in Milwaukee, as he was selected to five all-NBA Teams and was named the Defensive Player of the Year twice during that span.
Moncrief was never able to get the Bucks to the NBA Finals, as they were eliminated in the Eastern Conference finals several times.
5. Ray Allen
Known as one of the best 3-point shooters of all time, Ray Allen started out his career in Milwaukee.
“Jesus Shuttlesworth” nearly helped get the Bucks to the NBA Finals, but he and the Bucks fell to the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7 of the 2001 Eastern Conference finals.
Allen earned one All-NBA Team selection in his six-plus years in Milwaukee.
6. Bob Dandridge
Bob Dandridge was an instrumental part of the Bucks’ first championship run with his versatile skill set on both sides of the floor.
Dandridge led all scorers with 29 points to go along with 10 rebounds in Game 3 of the 1971 NBA Finals to help the Bucks take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Baltimore Bullets on their way to a series sweep.
7. Marques Johnson
Marques Johnson was named to three All-NBA Teams and helped the Bucks get to the Eastern Conference finals several times during his time in Milwaukee.
Due to his versatility as both a scorer and playmaker, Johnson considered himself to be a “point forward.”
