1. Brett Hull

Brett Hull became one of the most prolific scorers in NHL history in Blues colours. Over 11 seasons in St. Louis, Hull tallied an incredible 527 goals, which still tops the franchise’s goal-scoring charts today. 

As a member of the Blues in the early 1990s, he won the Hart, Lady Byng, and Lester B. Pearson Trophies. Hull’s presence in the offensive zone was instrumental in creating a winning culture and establishing St. Louis as a certified hockey power. Hull holds franchise records for game-winning goals (70), hat tricks (27), and goals per game (.71).

2. Bernie Federko

As the first player in Blues history to reach 1,000 points in a St. Louis uniform, Federko’s consistency and playmaking made him a key figure for the team throughout the 1980s. 

He still holds the franchise records for games played (927), assists (721), and points (1,073). The Saskatchewan native sits second to Hull in goals in Blues history (352), and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002.

3. Al MacInnis

MacInnis’ famed wooden stick and powerful slapshot terrified opposing players and goalies alike for years. He was the cornerstone of the Blues defence for a decade in St. Louis. 

MacInnis won the Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenceman in 1998-1999. Despite playing on the blue line, he remains fifth in franchise history in assists (325) and 10th in points (452).

4. Chris Pronger

Chris Pronger’s physicality and hockey intelligence made him one of the best defencemen in Blues’ history. Pronger spent nine phenomenal seasons in St. Louis, taking home the 1999-2000 Norris Trophy and the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s most valuable player in the same year.

Although the team never advanced far into the playoffs in his Blues tenure, Pronger established himself as one of the finest players in the NHL in St. Louis.

5. Vladimir Tarasenko

Vladimir Tarasenko’s explosive speed and sharpshooting ability made him a key offensive weapon for the modern-era Blues. 

He potted 262 goals and added 291 assists in 10-plus seasons with the team and sits fifth in goals and points in team history. He was an instrumental part of the Blues first Stanley Cup victory in 2019, scoring 11 goals en route to the championship.
