1. Shane Doan
Shane Doan embodied the spirit of Arizona for 20 NHL seasons. After playing his rookie season in Winnipeg, Doan moved with the franchise to the desert and never looked back. Despite having ample opportunity to chase glory elsewhere, Doan spent his entire career in Arizona.

He is the Coyotes all-time leader in games played (1,540), goals (402), assists (570), and points (972). Doan’s skill, loyalty and longevity in Arizona make him an easy choice as the best Coyotes player of all time.
2. Jeremy Roenick
Jeremy Roenick became a fan favourite in almost every city in which he played. In the late 1990s, he became an impactful player for the Coyotes, and his dynamic play and charisma gave fans something to cheer for when all hope of a Stanley Cup championship was lost.
Roenick scored 152 goals and 379 points in his time in Arizona, both good for 10th in franchise history.
3. Keith Tkachuk
One of the premier power forwards of his era, Keith Tkachuk brought grit and scoring touch to the Coyotes. His physical play set the tone for the team, and his presence on the ice was a constant threat to opposing defensemen.
Tkachuk was a key component of competitive Arizona teams in the late 1990s. In franchise history, he is third in goals (323) and fourth in points (623).
4. Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Oliver Ekman-Larsson dominated the blue line in Arizona for a decade. He was entrenched on the Coyotes top defensive pairing for his entire Coyotes career.
As a defenceman who could step up and lead a power-play unit, his offensive prowess made Ekman-Larsson a Coyotes staple. He is fourth in games played (769) and ninth in points (388) in Arizona history.
5. Mike Smith
Mike Smith’s time in Arizona was highlighted by his remarkable franchise-record shutout streak. During the 2012 season, Smith went over three full games without allowing a goal and stopped over 160 straight shots in the greatest stretch of goaltending in franchise history.

His athleticism and ability to make clutch saves under an offensive onslaught make him the finest goalie to ever grace the ice for the Coyotes. Smith’s unbelievable play between the pipes led the Coyotes to the 2012 Western Conference Final.
