- Anthony Calvillo holds the Alouettes all-time passing touchdown record with 455.
- Ben Cahoon is third all-time in CFL history in receptions at 1,017.
- Michael Pringle had 2,065 rushing yards for the Alouettes in 1998.
Founded in 1946, the Alouettes have become a fan favourite when wagering on football odds due to their storied history, which includes eight Grey Cups. These wins came in 1949, 1970, 1974, 1977, 2002, 2009, 2010, and 2023.
With just under a century’s worth of history, I’ll examine and list their top five players of all time.

He won three Grey Cups in 2002, 2009, and 2010.
Cahoon is third all-time in touchdowns, with 65 in Alouettes history. That 65-touchdown mark is the most receiving touchdowns in Alouettes history.

He won three Grey Cups, two Most Oustanding Offensive Lineman awards, and was a five-time Leo Dandurand Trophy winner. He played in 241 games and was inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame in 2018.
4. Michael Pringle

He is tied with Virgil Wagner for the most touchdowns all-time in Alouettes history with 79. He also has the most career rushing touchdowns for the team with 74. He had 19 rushing touchdowns during the 2000 season, the most all-time in Alouettes history in a single season.
His best season rushing came in 1998 when he had 2,065 yards.
5. Virgil Wagner
I mentioned Wagner above, and I’ll close out my list with him.
Originally drafted 271st overall in the 29th round of the 1943 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions, Wagner quickly found his way to the CFL and the Alouettes, where he played from 1946 to 1954. He won a Grey Cup in 1949 and was the Jeff Russel Memorial Trophy winner in 1947.
As mentioned above, he’s tied with Pringle for the all-time touchdown record in Alouettes history and second in rushing touchdowns with 55.
