  • The UFC is the leading MMA promotion and remains one of the most popular sports in Canada.
  • There are a few options for fans to watch the UFC in Canada.
  • UFC Fight Pass remains one of the best options.

The popularity of the UFC in Canada peaked when Georges St-Pierre was tearing up the competition in the welterweight division during his reign in the late 2000s and early 2010s. St-Pierre is in fourth place in the top five UFC champions with most title defences, with nine, making him one of the best Canadian UFC fighters of all time.

Even after his retirement, he’s among the most recognized and well-respected athletes today. The MMA odds of finding another Canadian UFC superstar are slim, but fans in the Great White North can still watch and support other fighters in the promotion. But how can they watch the UFC in Canada, especially for epic events like UFC 300?

How To Watch the UFC in Canada

There are different ways to watch the UFC in Canada – via Cable TV (via TSN), subscription to UFC Fight Pass, and buying individual pay-per-view events of their liking.

How Can I Watch UFC Fight Night in Canada?

All UFC Fight Nights are aired on TSN, and fans in Canada can watch it through cable TV. Also, they can subscribe to UFC Fight Pass to stream any Fight Night card to any device they prefer.

Is the UFC Free on ESPN?

UFC is free on ESPN if you subscribe to ESPN+ but is limited to Fight Nights. Users must pay additional charges to watch a UFC pay-per-view event.

Unfortunately, ESPN+ is unavailable in Canada because of licensing agreements, but fans can still access it using VPN services.
