  • No team has ever won three straight Super Bowls.
  • Eight teams have won back-to-back Super Bowls, including the Steelers doing it twice.
  • The Chiefs attempted, and failed this year, to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls.

If a team has a knack for making the playoffs and having success, this will impact their Super Bowl odds, as the team has proven it can win in big moments. This is especially true for teams that have won multiple Super Bowls in a row.

Below, I’ll explain what teams, if any, have won three straight Super Bowls, teams that have won back-to-back titles, and more.

Has Any NFL Team Ever Won Three Straight Super Bowls?

No NFL team has ever won three straight Super Bowls.

Has Any Team Won Two Super Bowls in a Row?

Yes, eight teams have won back-to-back Super Bowls, including the following:

  • Green Bay Packers: Super Bowl 1 and 2.
  • Miami Dolphins: Super Bowl 7 and 8.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers: Super Bowl 9 and 10.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers: Super Bowl 13 and 14.
  • San Francisco 49ers: Super Bowl 23 and 24.
  • Dallas Cowboys: Super Bowl 27 and 28.
  • Denver Broncos: Super Bowl 32 and 33.
  • New England Patriots: Super Bowl 38 and 39.
  • Kansas City Chiefs: Super Bowl 57 and 58.

Who Has the Most Consecutive Super Bowl Appearances?

The Buffalo Bills appeared in four straight Super Bowls from 1990 to 1993 and lost all four.

Has an NFL Team Won Three Titles in a Row?

Yes, but mainly before the Super Bowl era.

The Green Bay Packers did it twice, winning the NFL Championship in 1929, 1930, and 1931.

They also won the 1965, 1966, and 1967 NFL Championship games. It’s also worth noting that, in addition to the 1965 NFL Championship win, they won the first two Super Bowls, which happened in 1966 and 1967.
