Who Missed Out?
Junior Hoilett, a veteran of Canadian soccer and beloved by the fans, was the biggest exclusion from Marsch’s initial 32-man squad.
At 36 years old, there was probably some concern that Hoilett could no longer keep up with Marsch’s high-energy game.
Central defender Kamal Miller was a surprise omission, too. Theo Blair and James Pantemis can count themselves a little unlucky.
