Michigan Wolverines All-Time Greatest Women’s Basketball Players
1. Katelynn Flaherty
Katelynn Flaherty has the most points (2,776), 3-pointers (410), and fourth-most assists (400) in program history.
The points and 3-pointers are the most for anyone, man or woman, to wear a Michigan jersey, as well as double-figure scoring games (127) and 30-point games (13).
She was also the second woman to hit at least 400 triples in NCAA history, as she made a program-record 10 treys in a single game while scoring 33 points in an 89-69 Michigan win over Penn State on Dec. 28, 2017.
The three-time first-team All-Big Ten member averaged 19.8 points per game during her time at Michigan.
2. Naz Hillmon
Naz Hillmon has the most rebounds (1,063) and second-most points (2,183) in program history.
The multiple-time All-American and four-time first-team All-Big Ten member was the 2021 Big Ten Player of the Year when she averaged 24 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. She exploded for 50 points in one game and scored at least 10 points in all but one of her 22 games played.
Hillmon was drafted No. 15 overall by the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA in 2022.
3. Hallie Thome
Hallie Thome has the second-most blocks (202), and third-most points (2,081) and rebounds (885) in program history.
The three-time first-team All-Big Ten member averaged 15 points and 6.4 rebounds per game during her time at Michigan.
Thome put up nine 20-point games and one 30-point effort in her freshman and sophomore years.
4. Jennifer Smith
Jennifer Smith has the fourth-most points (1,716) in program history.
The 2004 first-team All-Big Ten member averaged 21.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game that season, as she put up double-digit scoring efforts in all but two of her 31 games played. She scored 20-plus points 11 times and 30-plus points six times that year.
Smith played two games for the New York Liberty in 2005.
5. Trish Andrew
Trish Andrew has the most blocks (367), second-most rebounds (928), and fifth-most points (1,647) in program history.
She helped Michigan earn its first 20-win season as a freshman in the 1989-90 season, as they made the NCAA Tournament.
Andrew averaged 14.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.2 blocks per game during her time at Michigan.
