Louisville Cardinals All-Time Greatest Women’s Basketball Players

1. Angel McCoughtry

Angel McCoughtry has the most points (2,779), steals (481), rebounds (1,261), and the second-most blocks (162) in program history.

The multiple-time All-American and three-time first-team All-Big East member was the Big East Player of the Year in 2007 and Big East Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.

McCoughtry averaged 20 points and 9.1 rebounds per game during her time at Louisville.

The five-time WNBA All-Star was drafted No. 1 overall by the Atlanta Dream in 2009, winning two scoring titles (2012, 2013) and she also led the league in steals in 2012 and 2014.

2. AD Durr

AD Durr has the second-most points (2,485) and 3-pointers made (374) in program history.

The multiple-time All-American and three-time first-team All-ACC member was a two-time ACC Player of the Year and the Dawn Staley Award winner in 2019, averaging 21.2 points per game that season.

Durr was drafted No. 2 overall by the New York Liberty in 2019.

3. Shoni Schimmel

Shoni Schimmel has the most 3-pointers made (387), second-most assists (601), third-most points (2,174), and fourth-most steals (262) in program history.

The two-time All-American, two-time first-team All-Big East, and 2014 first-team All-AAC member averaged 15.3 points and 4.2 assists per game during her time at Louisville.

The two-time WNBA All-Star was drafted No. 8 overall by the Atlanta Dream in 2014.

4. Myisha Hines-Allen

Myisha Hines-Allen has the second-most rebounds (1,151) and fourth-most points (2,028) in program history.

The one-time All-American and three-time All-ACC member was the ACC Player of the Year in 2016 and ACC Tournament MVP in 2018.

She averaged 14.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game during her time at Louisville.

Hines-Allen was drafted No. 19 overall by the Washington Mystics in 2018, helping them win a WNBA championship in 2019.

5. Sara Nord

Sara Nord has the most assists (848), second-most steals (303), and fourth-most 3-pointers made (260) in program history.

The four-time All-Conference USA guard averaged 13.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 2.6 steals per game during her time at Louisville.

Nord played for the Mystics in 2001.
