The Kentucky Wildcats women’s basketball team has consistently boasted short women’s college basketball odds of winning games, as they’ve gotten to the March Madness Tournament 11 times since 2010.

Kentucky has never made good on its short championship basketball betting odds, but they got to the Elite Eight four times.

Kentucky Wildcats All-Time Greatest Women’s Basketball Players

1. Valerie Still

Valerie Still has the most points (2,763) and rebounds (1,525) in program history.

The two-time All-American was the SEC Tournament MVP in 1982, helping Kentucky win the program’s first conference tournament title.

She won two championships with the Columbus Quest in 1997 and 1998, as she was named MVP both times.

Still played in 23 games for the Washington Mystics of the WNBA in 1999.

2. Rhyne Howard

Rhyne Howard has the most 3-pointers (284), second-most points (2,290), fourth-most blocks (109), and sixth-most rebounds (789) and steals (262) in program history.

The multiple-time All-American was a two-time SEC Player of the Year, and SEC Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2022.

Howard is one of only three Wildcats (men’s or women’s) to score 2,000 career points in less than 100 games played. That’s quite impressive given the amount of talent that’s come through the program.

The two-time WNBA All-Star was drafted No. 1 overall by the Atlanta Dream in 2022.

3. A’dia Mathies

A’dia Mathies has the most steals (320) and second-most points (2014) in program history.

The multiple-time All-American was a two-time SEC Player of the Year, named to two SEC All-Defensive teams and helped the Wildcats get to the Elite Eight three times.

Mathies was drafted No. 10 overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in 2013.

4. Victoria Dunlap

Victoria Dunlap has the most rebounds (1,099), second-most blocks (178), and third-most points (1,846) and steals (307) in program history.

The two-time All-American was a two-time SEC Player of the Year and a SEC Defensive Player of the Year.

Dunlap was drafted No. 11 overall by the Washington Mystics in 2011.

5. Makayla Epps

Makayla Epps has the fifth-most points (1,761) and sixth-most assists (405) in program history.

The three-time First-Team All-SEC guard helped Kentucky get to the NCAA Tournament four times, as they got to the Sweet 16 twice.

Epps was drafted No. 33 overall by the Chicago Sky in 2017.
