How Did Toronto Tempo Get Players?
Toronto selected 11 players in the expansion draft. Julie Allemand and Nyara Sabally were the Tempo’s first and second picks in the expansion draft, respectively.

Kiki Rice, a guard out of UCLA, was taken sixth overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft. Toronto also selected players at 22nd, 26th, and 36th in the draft.
Brittney Sykes was acquired on a two-year deal as a free agent. International rookies Laura Juškaitė and Maria Conde agreed to training camp contracts before making the initial roster.
