WNBA Championship Predictions & Best Bets
New York Liberty WNBA Championship Odds -275

Breanna Stewart added 19 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks. Jonquel Jones contributed 14 points and six rebounds.
Leonie Fiebich chipped in with 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
New York outrebounded Las Vegas 48-27, 13 of which were offensive boards leading to 14 second-chance points.
Ionescu still drew a ton of the same heavy defensive coverage in Game 3, when she scored just four points on a forgettable 1-of-7 shooting. But she was freeing herself off give-and-go actions and attacking downhill with more success in Game 4.
New York was rotating and switching heavily on defence and aggressively attacking closeouts, especially with Stewart’s ability to cover a ton of ground and switch onto the ball-handler.
When the Libs are moving the ball around on offence, they carry that same energy to the other side of the floor and communicate effectively on defence. If that continues, then this championship will be theirs to lose.
Minnesota Lynx WNBA Championship Odds +325
Napheesa Collier is averaging 27.5 points in her last two games after a forgettable first two games to open up the semifinal round. However, she didn’t get much help from her teammates in Game 4.
Minnesota shot just 10-of-26 from 3-point land, as they were not leveraging their size on either end of the floor or moving the ball effectively.
The Lynx move the ball better and more efficiently than any other team around the league. That’s a big reason why they were able to exceed expectations this season. They must tap into that and lock in defensively in Game 5 if they want to advance to the Finals.
Connecticut Sun WNBA Championship Odds +800
Connecticut outscored Minnesota 49-32 in the second half after trailing by seven points heading into halftime.
Tyasha Harris led the Sun with 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting. DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas added 18 points apiece.
Thomas also came up with 11 rebounds and eight assists. Bonner contributed eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
DiJonai Carrington and Marina Mabrey scored 15 and 10 points, respectively.
The Sun shot 8-of-15 from downtown, but they were also effective at picking apart Minnesota’s interior defence and bullying their way in the paint.
If the Sun can continue to hit a high percentage of their 3-point attempts and pick apart the defence in the paint and midrange while keeping that same defensive identity we saw in Game 4, they could definitely steal Game 5 in the Twin Cities.
