Canada’s women’s Olympic hockey teams have been the standard-bearers since the Olympics introduced women’s hockey during the 1998 Winter Olympics.

Now, nearly three decades later, the Olympic women’s hockey odds bear the same to be true today, as Canada’s top women feature prominently among the leaders for hockey odds.

While the United States may have something to say about Canadian hockey supremacy, it’s certainly no accident that sportsbook makers feel Canada remains the premier hockey power, thanks in part to a long history of superstar women’s players who have paved the way.

Which Player Has Scored the Most Points in Team Canada Women’s Olympic Hockey?

Hayley Wickenheiser’s astounding 51 points in 25 games played at the Olympics is the most of not only any Canadian, but also the most of any Olympic women’s ice hockey player.

For perspective, Wickenheiser’s 14-point gap on second-place Marie-Philip Poulin is the same as the gap between Poulin and Kathryn King, whose 23 points put her at 15th in Olympic women’s hockey history.
