Team Canada may be a modern dynasty in Olympic men’s hockey, particularly when NHLers are in attendance; however, that hasn’t always been the case.
Though no sportsbook at the time may have been putting together hockey odds, Canada’s long history of amateurs at the Olympic Games often came with mixed results, including a 50-year gold medal drought between 1952 and 2002.
Today’s Olympic men’s hockey odds show that Canada is a dominant force, but look no further than the list of Canada’s top all-time points leaders at the Olympics, and it’s clear that Canada’s Olympic hockey golden age is just getting started.

Which Player Has Scored the Most Points in Team Canada Men’s Olympic Hockey?
Despite suiting up for just five games, Harry Watson’s astounding 37 points are the benchmark for the top Canadian scorer in Olympic men’s hockey history.
Born in 1898, Watson demolished the 1924 Winter Olympics, the first winter games, in Chamonix, France. In one game against Switzerland, Watson scored a blistering 13 goals, en route to a 33-0 thrashing, Canada’s largest Olympic win of all time.
Following his death in 1957, Watson was posthumously inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1963.
