- Trump has the highest amount of follower engagement overall across both platforms.

- Trump receives, on average, five times the likes on X than Harris.
- Trump averages more likes on average than Harris on both platforms, although he obtains a larger following overall.

Methodology
To accurately capture the social media engagement of both candidates, BetMGM Sportsbook Canada analyzed the current social media activity and engagement of both Trump and Harris on two major social media platforms, reviewing how engaged followers have been for each candidate in the lead-up to the election.
The Sportsbook assessed the following current social media metrics:
- Current engagement rate
- Average likes per post
- Followers gained over the past 30 days, including since the last presidential debate (September 10, 2024):
Social media likes and posts were manually scraped directly from each platform, and the statistics website socialblade.com was used to gather data on follower count and growth.
