- Alexa Grasso is the reigning UFC women’s flyweight champion.
- Grasso is the favourite to remain as the division’s undisputed queen at the end of the year.
- Valentina Shevchenko, Manon Fiorot, Maycee Barber, and Rose Namajunas are other top contenders in the division who threaten Grasso's reign.
Alexa Grasso snapped the longtime reign of Valentina Shevchenko as the undisputed UFC women’s flyweight champion when she scored a massive upset in March 2023 with a fourth-round submission win.
She continued her tenure as the queen of the 125-pound division after they fought in a split draw in their rematch at Noche UFC in September. As their second meeting ended in a highly controversial and debatable result, their odds of being the champion at the end of the year are virtually a toss-up between them.
