Besides the incredible matchmaking and serving the best MMA odds, the UFC has been producing great overall production for every fight card. This includes the commentary team that provides dynamic insights during fights and engages the viewers.

But who are the people in the booth for the Las Vegas-based promotion during events? Find out below.

Who Does the Commentary for the UFC?

The UFC commentary team consists of Jon Anik, Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, Paul Felder, Brendan Fitzgerald, Laura Sanko, Michael Bisping, and Dominick Cruz.

Who Was the Old UFC Commentator?

Veteran sports commentator Mike Goldberg was a former member of the UFC commentary team from 1997 to 2016.

He became famous for saying“It’s all over!” whenever a match ended via stoppage, especially when a fighter scored a knockout victory against their opponent.

Why Doesn’t Joe Rogan Do Fight Nights?

Joe Rogan doesn’t cover fight night events in the UFC because he prefers to be in attendance for massive pay-per-view events or numbered UFC cards.

Also, Rogan doesn’t want to cover PPV events outside of America and skips international cards because he doesn’t want to travel.

Who Is the Lead Commentator for the UFC?

Jon Anik is the current lead commentator for the UFC because he has been the play-by-play announcer for the promotion for several years now, especially in PPV cards.

He assumed this role in 2017 after Goldberg’s contract with the UFC wasn’t renewed and he officially departed from the company.
