In the current rankings as of March 2025, Gaethje is the No. 3-rated fighter in the stacked 155-pound weight class and is comparable against the best fighters that also feature other UFC superstars, Islam Makhacehv, Charles Oliveira, and Dustin Poirier.

When Was the Last Time Justin Gaethje Fought?

Gaethje last fought on March 8 at UFC 313, where he defeated Rafael Fiziev in their rematch during the card’s main event. This was a bounce-back win for Gaethje after that devastating knockout loss to Max Holloway at UFC 300.

Has Justin Gaethje Had a UFC Belt?

Gaethje hasn’t won the undisputed UFC lightweight title, but he previously had two chances to capture it. Unfortunately, Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated him in October 2020 and Oliveira in May 2022, both losses coming by submission.
