UFC 303: Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler Odds
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Conor McGregor | -115 |
Michael Chandler | +105 |
Conor McGregor Is the -115 Favourite Against Michael Chandler
Fans are excited to see McGregor back inside the octagon because, despite him being out for almost three years due to injury and other ventures, he’s still the favoured athlete to win the match against Chandler. Furthermore, he’s coming off back-to-back losses against Dustin Poirier in his last two UFC fights.
The Irish superstar is the -115 favourite. One major reason is his prior experience fighting in the 170-pound division. McGregor has already fought twice in the welterweight division and recorded a 1-1 slate. In January 2020, he fought Donald Cerrone and scored an incredible 40-second TKO finish.
Michael Chandler Is the +105 Underdog Against Conor McGregor
Chandler will try to defy the odds against him as he’s the betting underdog heading into the clash with McGregor. His last appearance inside the octagon was a defeat from Poirier in their November 2022 meeting, where he got submitted in the third round of the match.
Aside from this latest setback from the Kill Cliff FC representative, he’s also lost three of his five UFC matches since making his promotional debut in January 2021. His two wins were against Dan Hooker and Tony Ferguson, while his other two defeats were courtesy of Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje.
Additionally, this will be Chandler’s first match in the welterweight division. He has fought in the 155-pound weight class throughout his professional MMA career, even before he signed with the Las Vegas-based promotion.
