Futures bets focus on long-term outcomes, such as whether the Tempo will make the playoffs or compete for a WNBA championship.
If you bet $25 on the Tempo (+5000) to win the WNBA title, the wager settles once Toronto is eliminated or officially clinches the championship.
The point spread is based on the final scoring margin of a Tempo game.
If you bet $10 on the Tempo -4.5 (-110) against the New York Liberty, Toronto must win the game by at least five points.
If you bet $10 on the Tempo +4.5 (-110) against the Las Vegas Aces, Toronto can either win the game outright or lose by four points or fewer.
If the final scoring margin lands exactly on the listed spread, the bet is graded as a push, and the stake is refunded.
The moneyline bet simply asks whether the Tempo will win the game.
If you bet $60 on the Tempo -140 against the Chicago Sky, Toronto must win the game, including overtime if needed.
The over/under total focuses on how many combined points are scored by both teams.
If you bet $20 on over 162.5 (-110) in a game against the Indiana Fever, the teams must combine for at least 163 total points.
If you bet $25 on under 162.5 (-110), the game must finish with 162 or fewer combined points.
If the final point total matches the listed number exactly, the bet is ruled a push.
Parlays allow you to combine Tempo bets with other WNBA wagers on a single ticket.
If you place a $10 three-leg parlay that includes the Tempo moneyline (+115) vs. the Phoenix Mercury, Connecticut Sun moneyline (-150 vs. the Atlanta Dream), and over 159.5 (-110) in the Seattle Storm–Minnesota Lynx game, all three selections must win for the parlay to cash.
If one leg results in a push, it is removed from the parlay, and the odds and payout are recalculated based on the remaining bets.
