What Are the Best Premier League Stadiums?

1. Tottenham Hotspur – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

It’s rare to see Spurs at the top of any soccer odds, but I can’t deny Tottenham’s new home the No. 1 spot on this list.

The multi-purpose stadium opened in 2019 and is the NFL’s home in the United Kingdom, hosting two games each season.

2. Newcastle United – St. James’ Park

St. James’ Park is one of the loudest grounds in the Premier League, a must-visit if you crave atmosphere.

3. Arsenal – Emirates Stadium

There isn’t a bad seat in the Emirates, and the sound within the ground has taken off in recent years, along with Mikel Arteta’s squad.

4. Liverpool – Anfield

Anfield has one of the league’s best pre-match traditions, with fans singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” just before kickoff.

5. Aston Villa – Villa Park

Villa Park has been the Birmingham club’s home for more than a century, and the facade of the lively Holte End is a beautiful tribute to that history.

6. Fulham – Craven Cottage

Craven Cottage sits right on London’s River Thames, creating one of the most unique and glorious walks to any EPL ground.

7. Chelsea – Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge is one of England’s oldest and most iconic stadiums; every seat feels close to the action.

8. Manchester City – Etihad Stadium

Manchester City is often a perennial favourite in the Premier League odds at the BetMGM sportsbook, but its home ground sometimes lacks the atmosphere that a team of Pep Guardiola’s level deserves.

9. West Ham United – London Stadium

The London Stadium was built for the 2012 Summer Olympics and became West Ham’s home four years later.

10. Wolverhampton Wanderers – Molineux Stadium

Built in the late 1880s, Molineux Stadium has more history than most grounds, and there’s something about the gold and black decor that strikes a chord with me.

11. Nottingham Forest – The City Ground

The City Ground has plenty of character, which is amplified by the atmosphere the Forest fans create.

12. Manchester United – Old Trafford

“The Theatre of Dreams,” as Sir Bobby Charlton nicknamed it, is home to plenty of Premier League history.

However, Manchester United’s home could also do with further renovation.

13. Brentford – Gtech Community Stadium

One of the smallest stadiums in the league, Brentford’s modern home makes up for it with comfort and accessibility.

14. Everton – Goodison Park

The 2024-25 Premier League season will be the final campaign for Goodison Park, Everton’s home since 1892, as the club will move into a new home on the River Mersey next season.

15. Leicester City – King Power Stadium

The King Power Stadium will long be synonymous with Leicester City’s 2015-16 Premier League title triumph, with the club overcoming 1000-1 preseason odds.

16. Ipswich Town – Portman Road

British musician Ed Sheeran is a minority shareholder of Ipswich Town and is often seen in one of the executive boxes at Portman Road.

17. Southampton – St. Mary’s Stadium

The four stands at St. Mary’s are all the same size, giving it a boxy feel I don’t particularly care for.

18. Brighton & Hove Albion – American Express Stadium

The Amex solved Brighton’s lengthy search for a permanent home, but the stadium isn’t the most visually appealing.

19. Crystal Palace – Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace is a London club, but Selhurst Park is a significant trek from the city centre and an inconvenient drive.

20. Bournemouth – Vitality Stadium

The Vitality Stadium is the Premier League’s smallest ground, seating just over 11,300 fans, limiting the atmosphere that home and away supporters can conjure.
