Golf’s first major championship of the year has arrived.
The best players in the world will tee it up this week at Augusta National Golf Club in the 2025 Masters Tournament.
Defending champion Scottie Scheffler began atop the Masters odds at the BetMGM Sportsbook but faces stiff competition in the golf betting market from Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Collin Morikawa, among others.
Here’s how golf fans in Canada can watch the Masters and see the drama unfold live as golfers stake their claim for the Green Jacket.
How to Watch the Masters in Canada
There are multiple ways to watch the Masters in Canada this week.
TSN will broadcast Rounds 1 and 2 live, with coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday. On the weekend, TSN and CTV will bring you all the action starting at 2 p.m. ET.
Additionally, RDS will provide French-language coverage of golf’s first major throughout the week.
If you want more ways to watch the Masters throughout the day, TSN+ will live stream exclusive coverage of Amen Corner, featured groups, and select holes.
How To Watch the Masters for Free
Unfortunately, there is no way to watch the entire Masters Tournament for free in Canada, as TSN and RDS cost extra regardless of whether you’re watching on TV or streaming.
Suppose you want to watch Canadian Nick Taylor, who overcame his PGA Tour odds to win the Sony Open in January, and the rest of his compatriots on Thursday and Friday. In that case, you must sign up for a monthly or annual subscription.
However, if you can hold off until the weekend, CTV will broadcast the third and final rounds of the Masters for free.
Where Can I Stream the Masters for Free?
Streaming the Masters for free is much easier in the United States, as Masters.com and the Masters app provide plenty of great live coverage from Augusta.
Unfortunately, that isn’t an option in Canada.
However, you can stream Rounds 3 and 4 of the Masters in Canada for free at CTV.ca or by using the CTV app.
How To Watch the Masters on Paramount+
Watching the Masters on Paramount+ will be a popular option in the United States but it cannot be accessed in Canada.
However, TSN+ and Paramount+ will have many of the same streaming options regarding coverage of Amen Corner and featured groups.
Can I Watch the Masters on Amazon Prime?
In the United States, you can watch the Masters on Amazon Prime by adding the Paramount+ channel to your subscription.
That is not an option in Canada because Bell Media, which owns TSN, CTV, and RDS, holds the country’s broadcast rights for each major championship.
