  • The Masters purse was $20 million in 2024.
  • Every player who makes the cut receives at least $40,000.
  • Players who miss the cut are paid $10,000.

Boasting one of the largest purses on the PGA Tour, golfers receive massive prize money if they enjoy a successful week at the Masters.

The prize money isn’t a factor I consider when constructing golf parlays from the latest PGA Tour odds, but it can be a life-changing sum of money, particularly if an outsider finishes in the top 20.

The prize money decreases the further down the field a player finishes. Each place between eighth and 14th is worth an additional $40,000. The gap between prize money is $20,000 for every place from 15th to 21st.
