The second major of the year, the 2026 PGA Championship, is being played at Aronimink Golf Club. As usual, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are the golf betting favourites at the BetMGM sportsbook, but could one of the three Canadians find themselves in contention on Sunday?
All three enter with majors experience, while Sudarshan Yellamaraju is the first alternate and will make his major debut if any player withdraws.
Canadians in the 2026 PGA Championship
Corey Conners PGA Championship Odds
Corey Conners’ PGA Championship odds are off the board.
It’s been a disappointing few weeks for Corey Conners after strong showings at the Players Championship and the Valspar Championship. Conners has a best finish of 30th across his last three tournaments.
If he can get his putts falling, Conners’ high level of approach play should stand him in good stead at Aronimink. It’s a course that rewards players with accurate approach shots and a good short game.
It’s not out of the question that Conners finds himself in the top 20 (+375). He’s got the game to post some low scores, but there are concerns about his form. I predict Conners will make the cut (-189).
Nick Taylor PGA Championship Odds
Nick Taylor’s PGA Championship odds are off the board.
Nick Taylor hasn’t made the cut at the PGA Championship since 2015. He’s made the cut in three of his last five majors, however, representing a marked improvement on his performances across 2023 and 2024.
Taylor is fifth in shots gained around the green and in the top 20 in approach play over the last six months. He tied for ninth at the recent Cadillac Championship and could be a dark horse at Aronimink if he can maintain his high standards on approach and around the greens.
Forget about his previous record at the PGA Championship. Taylor is a man in form and has posted some excellent scores in 2026. Sportsbooks might overlook the 38-year-old, but I predict he will finish in the top 20 (+500) and a top 10 finish (+1100) is very much in play.
Taylor Pendrith PGA Championship Odds
Taylor Pendrith’s PGA Championship odds are off the board.
Taylor Pendrith hasn’t registered a top 10 finish since the Sony Open in January. His putting has been among the worst on the PGA Tour over that period, with his driving distance the only notable strength.
Hitting long doesn’t help Pendrith that much at Aronimink. He needs to be able to put himself in good positions off the tee and then nail the approach shots. The way he’s played over the last three-plus months suggests that’s a big ask. Pendrith has failed to make the cut at four of the last seven majors he’s played in.
I predict Pendrith will miss the cut at the 2026 PGA Championship. He’s been one of the weakest players on the PGA Tour over the last six months, and it’s hard to see how that turns around under the pressure of a major championship.
