Winnipeg Jets Playoff Picture & Wild Card Odds

The Winnipeg Jets were 11 points out of a playoff spot at the end of February, but have cut the deficit to five points. 

However, a devastating loss to the Philadelphia Flyers has their wild-card chances hanging by a thread, with only six points available.

According to the hockey odds at the BetMGM online sportsbook, the Jets were a long shot to make the playoffs at the start of 2026. As of Friday, the Jets’ Stanley Cup odds are off the board.  

That script flipped thanks to the Jets’ 12-6-2 run since March 3, tied with the Colorado Avalanche for the eighth-best points percentage (.650).  

While the Jets’ ability to claw themselves back into the fold is impressive, they’ll almost certainly fall short of securing a playoff berth.
