Rogers Communications has officially owned 75% of the Maple Leafs since July 2025, when it closed its deal to buy BCE Inc.’s 37.5 % stake in MLSE, becoming the majority owner of the company.
It was a $4.7 billion deal that also included a 75% share of the Toronto Argonauts, Toronto Raptors, and Toronto FC, adding to Rogers Communications’ portfolio, which already included the Toronto Blue Jays, Rogers Centre, and Sportsnet.
