Despite only entering the NHL for the start of the 2017-18 season, the Vegas Golden Knights have already achieved remarkable success.

They are consistently among the Stanley Cup odds favourites at the BetMGM online sportsbook, thanks to an unparalleled knack for constructing championship-calibre rosters.

They’ve also received some impressive performances from key individuals, many of whom are among those with the most goals in the playoffs.

7. Alex Tuch (19 Goals)

Alex Tuch is tied for fifth despite playing only 66 playoff games with the Golden Knights before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres for Jack Eichel in 2021.

Tuch scored eight goals in 20 games during the 2020 postseason, the most of his career. Six of his 19 goals were game-winners, and he helped the Golden Knights advance to at least the Western Conference final in three of four playoffs.

T-5. Shea Theodore (21 Goals)

Shea Theodore enjoyed his best playoffs with the Golden Knights in 2019, when he scored seven goals in 20 games.

Four of his 21 goals were game-winners, and the defenceman scored at least once in seven of eight postseasons with Vegas.

T-5. Reilly Smith (21 Goals)

Reilly Smith has been in the playoffs nine times, seven of which with the Golden Knights.

He scored five goals twice and four during their 2023 Stanley Cup run, two of which were in the Stanley Cup Final. Smith netted a game-winning goal in five of six playoffs with the Golden Knights preceding the 2026 postseason.

4. Brett Howden (23 Goals)

Brett Howden has played four postseasons with the Golden Knights, and he scored 14 of his 23 goals in the 2026 playoffs.

Six of Howden’s 23 playoff goals with the Golden Knights are game-winners, the most impressive aspect of his haul.

3. William Karlsson (34 Goals)

Eleven of William Karlsson’s 34 goals came during the 2023 Stanley Cup run. He scored five of those 11 against the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference final.

He netted 28 of his 34 goals in his first five postseasons with the Golden Knights. Karlsson played in the 2017 playoffs with the Columbus Blue Jackets, the only postseason of his career not with Vegas.

2. Jonathan Marchessault (36 Goals)

Jonathan Marchessault scored 13 goals during the 2023 playoffs, which was enough to win the Conn Smythe Trophy. It was the only time he reached a double-digit goal tally, with the eight he scored during the 2018 playoffs his second-best output.

Five of his six game-winners came in the aforementioned two playoffs.

1. Mark Stone (43 Goals)

You don’t have to look far to see why Mark Stone is the captain. He has 43 goals in the postseason with the Golden Knights, 11 of which came in the 2023 Cup run.

He scored at least one winner in five of the seven playoffs.
