Since the 2019 playoffs, the Carolina Hurricanes have made the conference finals four times and the Stanley Cup Final once.
The Hurricanes’ postseason has helped make them a consistent Stanley Cup odds contender at the BetMGM sportsbook.
Six of the eight players on the list below, which features the Hurricanes with the most playoff games, have been influential in their deep playoff runs.
The other two were key cogs during the previous period of playoff success.

8. Niclas Wallin (69 Games)
Niclas Wallin played in four playoffs with the Hurricanes from 2000 to 2006, reaching the Stanley Cup Final twice.
He won it all in 2006 and advanced to the conference final three times. The outlier occurred in 2001, when the Hurricanes lost to the New Jersey Devils in the first round.
7. Seth Jarvis (70 Games)
Seth Jarvis has been to the conference finals three times and the Stanley Cup Final once in his five playoffs with the Hurricanes.
He has never bowed out in the first round and is among those with the most playoff goals for the Hurricanes (22).
6. Rod Brind’Amour (72 Games)
Like Wallin, Rod Brind’Amour only played in four postseasons with the Hurricanes. But what an impact he made, playing in two Stanley Cup Finals and three conference finals.
He’s among the Hurricanes with the most game-winning goals in the playoffs, and he won the Cup in 2006.
5. Andrei Svechnikov (81 Games)
Andrei Svechnikov has been a Hurricane since his 2018-19 rookie season. He missed the 2023 run to the Eastern Conference final because of a torn ACL.
Only one of his seven postseasons ended in the first round, in 2020, when they lost to the Boston Bruins in five games.
4. Jordan Martinook (91 Games)
Jordan Martinook joined the Hurricanes at the same time as Svechnikov, after the franchise missed the playoffs for 10 successive seasons.
All 89 of his postseason appearances have come with the Hurricanes, as the Arizona Coyotes didn’t qualify for the dance during his four seasons there between 2014 and 2018.
3. Jaccob Slavin (101 Games)
Jaccob Slavin has played all 11 seasons of his NHL career with the Hurricanes. He was part of the team at the end of their 10-season absence from the postseason, playing in three campaigns without playoff action.
Slavin has played in 99 of the Hurricanes’ 102 playoff games since 2019.
T-1. Sebastian Aho (104 Games)
Sebastian Aho is in the same boat as Svechnikov, Martinook, and Slavin, having never played a playoff game for another team. The only difference between him and the aforementioned pair is that Aho has played in all 102 playoff games since 2019.
Aho’s rookie season came in 2016-17, the year before Svechnikov.
T-1. Jordan Staal (104 Games)
Jordan Staal joins Aho as the only two to play in all 102 playoff games since 2019. Of the six players on this list currently playing for the Hurricanes, Staal is the only one with a Stanley Cup.
He won it all with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009. Staal joined the team in 2012, and he endured six seasons without playoff hockey before entering his first of eight playoffs with the Hurricanes in 2019.
