Golden Knights With Most Goals In One Playoff

There have been some outstanding playoff performances from Vegas Golden Knights players despite the franchise only being in the NHL since the 2017-18 season. 

The players on the list for most goals in a single playoff single-handedly helped improve the Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup odds at the BetMGM sportsbook. 

Who Has the Most Goals for the Golden Knights in One Playoff?

T-7. Alex Tuch (8 Goals, 2020)

Alex Tuch scored eight goals during the 2020 playoffs, in which the Golden Knights lost to the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference final. 

Tuch, traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 2021, had a four-game goal-scoring streak at the tail end of the first round against the Chicago Blackhawks and into the second round versus the Vancouver Canucks. 

He scored three game-winning goals, the most of his postseason career.  

T-7. Jonathan Marchessault (8 Goals, 2018)

Jonathan Marchessault appears on this list twice. 

He lit the lamp eight times en route to the franchise’s first Stanley Cup Final appearance in 2018, all of which occurred in the second round against the San Jose Sharks and the Western Conference final versus the Winnipeg Jets. 

6. Chandler Stephenson (10 Goals, 2023)

Unsurprisingly, four of the top eight goal hauls came in the Golden Knights’ only championship season, with Chandler Stephenson’s 10 the fewest of the quartet. 

He scored five goals in the other five postseasons he appeared in, underscoring how prolific he was during the 2023 Cup run. Three of those 10 goals were game-winners, and he got off to a cracking start, netting four in the first round against the Jets. 

T-4. Mark Stone (11 Goals, 2023)

Over a quarter of Mark Stone’s playoff goals with the Golden Knights came in the 2023 playoffs. He scored 11 goals in 22 games, five of which occurred against the Panthers in the final. 

He capped a superb playoffs with a hat trick in the Stanley Cup-clinching game, which the Golden Knights won 9-3. 

T-4. William Karlsson (11 Goals, 2023)

Along with three other players on this list, William Karlsson enjoyed his best playoffs in 2023, where he scored 11 goals en route to the championship. 

He netted four in the first round against the Jets and three versus the Stars in the Western Conference final. Surprisingly, only one was a game-winner, coming against the Florida Panthers in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final. 

3. Pavel Dorofeyev (12 Goals, 2026)

Pavel Dorofeyev scored one goal in nine playoff games before scoring 12 in the 2026 playoffs. 

While only one was a game-winning goal, he netted at least once in all four series. 

2. Jonathan Marchessault (13 Goals, 2023)

Marchessault led the Golden Knights and tied Leon Draisaitl for the most goals (13) during the 2023 playoffs. 

He lit the lamp eight times in eight games during the Western Conference final and the first two contests of the final. 

Marchessault captured the Conn Smythe Trophy for his efforts and is among the Golden Knights with the most playoff goals.

1. Brett Howden (14 Goals, 2026)

Brett Howden scored 14 goals in the 2026 playoffs, netting three game-winners and scoring all 14 goals in the final 19 games. 

He scored four in the first four Stanley Cup Final games against the Carolina Hurricanes, but couldn’t find the net in Games 5 or 6.
