The final spot in Round 2 of the 2025 NHL playoffs will be filled on Sunday night when the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues meet in Game 7 at Canada Life Centre.

St. Louis staved off elimination with a 5-2 home victory on Friday, chasing Vezina Trophy finalist Connor Hellebuyck for the third time in this series.

Before the puck drops on Sunday’s winner-take-all finale, I’ll examine the latest hockey betting lines and make my Blues vs. Jets best bets for Game 7.

Blues vs. Jets Odds: Game 7

  • Blues spread: +1.5
  • Jets spread: -1.5
  • Total: 5.5

Blues vs. Jets Series Winner Odds

After dropping Game 6 on the road, the Jets’ NHL betting odds to win this series lengthened from -500 to -150. That price gives Winnipeg an implied probability of 60% to reach Round 2.

Meanwhile, St. Louis saw its odds shorten from +375 to +125, implying a 44.4% chance of winning Game 7 on the road.

Blues series winner odds: +125

Jets series winner odds: -150

Blues vs. Jets Predictions & Best Bets for Game 7

The Winnipeg Jets have more concerns than a team heading into a home Game 7 would like.

Hellebuyck’s struggles between the pipes are chief among them, as the 31-year-old netminder has surrendered 19 goals on 85 shots over the past four games. He has now conceded five or more goals in a game as many times in this series (three) as he did in 62 regular-season starts.

It’s also too early to know if Winnipeg will have star centre Mark Scheifele back in the lineup. The 32-year-old, who ranked second on the Jets with 87 points during the regular season, left Game 5 after taking a high hit in the opening period and didn’t travel to St. Louis for Game 6.

That said, there is a chance that Scheifele suits up on Sunday, and Hellebuyck’s form has been relatively better at Canada Life Center. Home ice has been a massive advantage in this series — home teams are 6-0, winning by multiple goals on five occasions — so I’m backing the Jets (-150) to advance.

I’m also taking over 5.5 goals (+125) as one of my best online sportsbook picks for Game 7. While these series-deciding games tend to be lower-scoring, five of the six contests in this series have gone over this total, with four featuring at least seven goals.

The last prop I like is Nikolaj Ehlers over 0.5 points (-125). The 29-year-old winger made his series debut in Game 6, returning to the lineup after missing multiple weeks with a lower-body injury. Ehlers recorded 35 points in 33 home games during the regular season, and Winnipeg will need his speed and skill, especially if Scheifele sits.
