1. Jared McCann

Jaren McCann has become an offensive force in Seattle, leading the team in both goals and points. He blasted onto the NHL scene last season, scoring 40 goals and adding 30 helpers to lead the team and make his first NHL All-Star Game appearance.

He’s also potted the most power-play goals with 22, helping the Kraken to capitalize on critical scoring opportunities. McCann’s scoring touch has made him a cornerstone of the Kraken franchise.

2. Jordan Eberle

Jordan Eberle etched his name in Kraken history by scoring the franchise’s first goal. He will forever be remembered as a symbol of the team’s beginning.

Eberle’s knack for finding the back of the net, and playmaking ability have made him indispensable in Seattle. His selection as the team’s first NHL All-Star speaks volumes about his impact and the respect he commands around the league. Eberle’s potted 20 goals in back-to-back seasons as a member of the Kraken, and looks poised to make that three straight this season. He’s an essential part of Seattle’s offensive attack. Eberle’s veteran leadership has been indispensable for a young Kraken squad.

3. Philipp Grubauer

The first marquee goaltender for the Kraken, Philipp Grubauer has been a rock between the pipes. His ability to make clutch saves has kept the Kraken competitive in tight games. Grubauer holds the Kraken records for most wins (40), and saves (2529) in franchise history.

The former fourth-round pick of the Washington Capitals was an integral part of the Kraken’s first playoff series victory in the first round of the 2023 playoffs. Grubauer had the last laugh against his former team, the Colorado Avalanche, making 33 saves in the Kraken’s Game 7 victory.

4. Oliver Bjorkstrand

An NHL All-Star this season, Danish sensation Oliver Bjorkstrand has quickly become a fan favourite in Seattle.

He sits fifth in goals (33), and sixth in points (85) in franchise history. Bjorkstrand played a crucial role in the Kraken’s first-round upset of the Avalanche in last year’s playoffs, scoring both goals in a thrilling Game 7 road victory. He’s Seattle’s leader in points this season, and is on track to set career highs in goals, assists, and points.

5. Yanni Gourde

An original expansion draft pick, Yanni Gourde has emerged as a key player for the Kraken. He sits third in Seattle history in goals (42), assists (74), and fourth in games played (203) and points (116).

The undrafted free agent has carved out quite the career himself, as he enters his ninth year in the NHL. Gourde’s commitment to doing the dirty work on both ends of the ice, and incredible faceoff prowess have made him a mainstay in Seattle.
