1. Rick Nash
As the franchise’s first star, Rick Nash’s electrifying presence on the ice propelled the Blue Jackets forward during their formative years. Drafted first overall in 2002, Nash quickly became the face of the Blue Jackets, scoring 41 goals to win the Maurice Richard Trophy in his second season.

Nash holds the franchise records for most goals (289), assists (258), and points (547) in franchise history and remains beloved by the fans of Columbus.
2. Sergei Bobrovsky
Bobrovsky stands as one of the most influential figures in Blue Jackets history. His time between the pipes was marked by unbelievable performances that earned him two Vezina Trophies. He won 21 games with a .932 save percentage and 2.00 goals against average to win the 2013 Vezina. Bob followed that up by winning 41 games with a .931 save percentage and 2.06 goals against average in 2017 to take home the trophy once again.
Bobrovsky’s outstanding play was pivotal in several Blue Jackets’ playoff appearances, as his presence took the team to new heights. Office Bob has the most wins (213) and shutouts (33) in Blue Jackets history.
3. Seth Jones
Acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Nashville Predators, Seth Jones quickly established himself as the cornerstone of the Blue Jackets defence. His smooth skating and all-around impact earned him four consecutive All-Star nods from 2016 to 2020.
Jones led Columbus’s defence in ice time in each season he spent with the franchise and became one of the most dependable defencemen in the NHL during his tenure.
4. Cam Atkinson
Despite being a sixth-round draft pick, Cam Atkinson became one of the most prolific scorers in the NHL in Columbus. His speed, tenacity, and knack for finding the back of the net made him a constant threat in the offensive zone.
Atkinson tied Nash’s franchise record with 41 goals in 2018 and is second in goals (213) and points (402) in franchise history.
5. Zach Werenski
A constant and dependable force on the Blue Jackets blue line, Zach Werenski has developed into one of the finest two-way defencemen in the NHL.
Werenski’s ability to lead the power play and remain reliable on defence has made him an indispensable part of the Blue Jackets’ modern core. He’s scored the most goals of any defenceman in franchise history (83) and is sixth on the all-time point list (283).
