Bisciotti started Aerotek, part of the Allegis Group, in 1983 with his cousin, Jim Davis. Aerotek, a staffing and recruiting company, provided skilled temporary employees to aerospace and technology companies. 

Allegis Group is the largest staffing firm in the United States and the largest privately held talent management firm in the world, providing Bisciotti with most of his wealth. 

Allegis Group is headquartered just outside of Baltimore and has over 15,000 internal employees.
