With Klint Kubiak landing the head coaching job at the Las Vegas Raiders, the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks headed into the 2026 NFL offseason needing to land a new offensive coordinator.

Coming off a season in which the Seahawks ranked third in points scored per game, the new Seahawks’ offensive coordinator has a difficult job maintaining the same standards.

Even with a key change in the coordinator spot, the Seahawks remain one of the Super Bowl favourites in the football betting markets at the BetMGM sportsbook.

Notably, Fleury is keen to retain some of the elements from Kubiak’s successful offence. A former run game coordinator under Kyle Shanahan for the San Francisco 49ers, there are distinct similarities between Shanahan and Kubiak’s offensive philosophies.

Jadarian Price replacing Kenneth Walker III in Seattle’s backfield will force some changes for Fleury. Seattle is also without Zach Charbonnet for the majority of the 2026 regular season.

Though he’s never called offensive plays before, Fleury has a clear blueprint for how he wants the Seahawks to play. In his introductory press conference, he emphasised the need to be “fast and violent,” and there’s a good chance the run game will be leaned on even more heavily than it was in the Kubiak era.
