Who Is the Buffalo Bills’ Offensive Coordinator?
Pete Carmichael is the offensive coordinator for the Bills.
Hired in January 2026, Carmichael was the first offensive hire by head coach Joe Brady. The pair had previously worked together on the New Orleans Saints’ offensive coaching staff in 2017 and 2018.
Arriving in Buffalo with a quarter of a century of experience in the NFL, Carmichael has worked for five different franchises. Most recently, he served as a senior offensive assistant for the Denver Broncos in 2024 and 2025 and played a significant role in the development of Bo Nix.
During a long period with the Saints, Carmichael worked his way up from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator. New Orleans won a Super Bowl, and Drew Brees was named Offensive Player of the Year twice during Carmichael’s time with the team.
