Of all the richest NFL owners, none is more under-the-radar or more entertaining than Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti.

Below, I’ll explain Bisciotti’s net worth and how he made enough money to buy the Ravens, a squad that more often than not features favourable NFL odds on Sundays.

What Is Steve Bisciotti’s Net Worth?

According to Forbes, Bisciotti has a net worth of $8.5 billion.

How Did Steve Bisciotti Make His Money?

Bisciotti made his money after he and his cousin, Jim Davis, founded Allegis Group (formerly Aerotek), a talent management firm, in 1983. Today, it’s one of the largest, if not the largest, staffing firms in the United States.

In 2000, he bought a 49% stake in the Ravens from former owner Art Modell, with an option to purchase the remaining 51%. In 2004, Bisciotti did just that, spending $325 to buy the remaining 51%.

Does Steve Bisciotti Own 100% of the Ravens?

As of 2004, Biscotti owns 100% of the Ravens. He purchased 49% in 2000 and the remaining 51% in 2004.

Is Steve Bisciotti a Good Owner?

Yes. Bisciotti is what I’d consider one of the standards of good NFL ownership: He lets the “football people” handle the “football stuff,” while he hires the right people for those positions.

Recently, on “The Pat McAfee Show,” former Ravens offensive lineman A.Q. Shipley shared that Bisciotti would pay a visit to the team’s facility on occasion to see if players or team personnel needed anything, then fade into the background, as he wishes to stay under the radar.

Additionally, as many fans observed during the press conference after the team fired longtime head coach John Harbaugh, he’s entertaining, transparent, and honest.
