Getting that +100 value and +2.5, I’m siding with the Panthers in this game. 

Panthers quarterback Bryce Young finally started to show some shades of a franchise-calibre quarterback after being benched and returning.

Over the final three games of last season, Young had double-digit touchdown passes in all of them. In the final game, which went to overtime, he completed 73.5% of his passes for 251 yards, three touchdowns, and no picks on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. 

Now, he’ll have a receiver in Tetairoa McMillan to throw to. 

On top of that, running back Chuba Hubbard proved he could be the lead back in an offence. 

On defence, the Panthers added plenty of talent, especially along the defensive line. They’ve added Bobby Brown III, Tershawn Wharton, Patrick Jones II, Nic Scourton, and Princely Umanmielen. 

The Jaguars are certainly going to grab the headlines here after selecting Hunter at No. 2 overall, but let’s not forget they’re in their first game with a new head coach in Liam Coen. 

This will be a close game, but give me the Panthers and the points.
