2025 NFL Draft Odds, Predictions, Favourites, & Best Bets

  • Cam Ward (-10000) is atop the odds as the Titans have a pressing quarterback need.
  • Abdul Carter (+4000) is second after posting 23 sacks at Penn State.
  • Travis Hunter (+5000) is third after claiming that if he isn’t allowed to play both sides of the ball, he’d rather not play football.

While a team picking No. 1 overall is unlikely to be atop the Super Bowl odds, the hope is that whoever they add will help elevate them there sooner rather than later.

With less than a week until the 2025 NFL Draft, see the latest odds for who is set to go No. 1 overall.

The Tennessee Titans are on the clock.

Prediction: Who Will Be First Overall Pick in 2025 NFL Draft?

Quarterback Cam Ward is the current favourite to be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, with football betting odds of -10000, followed by:

  • Abdul Carter, edge rusher (+4000)
  • Travis Hunter, cornerback/wide receiver (+5000)

I predict Cam Ward (-10000) will be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

This is a lock to happen. The Titans didn’t sign a quarterback in free agency, and the new general manager, Mike Borgonzi, and second-year head coach Brian Callahan weren’t part of the regime that drafted Will Levis.

They’re picking No. 1 overall for a reason. It’s time to draft a new quarterback.

2025 First Overall Pick Favourites & Best Bets

Cameron Ward First Overall Pick Odds -10000

Ward is -10000 to be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

He’s my best online sportsbook bet to be the top pick.

As mentioned, the Titans need a quarterback. While Callahan was the head coach last year with Levis under center, he wasn’t the head coach when he was drafted.

Borgonzi took over the general manager role previously held by Ran Carthon, who drafted Levis.

Ward is the type of quarterback who can drift in and out of the pocket and is hell-bent on making a play. That can, at times, be a blessing and a curse. He can get a bit haphazard with the ball at times, including some fumbles, but I believe he’ll be the best quarterback the Titans have had since Steve McNair.

Examining the 2024 NFL Draft class, I’d slot Ward No. 4 ahead of Michael Penix Jr., J.J. McCarthy, and Bo Nix but behind Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye.

Abdul Carter First Overall Pick Odds +4000

Carter is +4000 to be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Carter is a sensational edge rusher, but the Titans need to get the quarterback position right.

Carter is my pick to go No. 3 overall to the New York Giants, though the idea of him going No. 2 overall to the Cleveland Browns to pair with Myles Garrett is certainly intriguing.

Travis Hunter First Overall Pick Odds +5000

Hunter is +5000 to be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

It’s hard to pass on a player with Hunter’s talent. He plays both ways, is coming off a Heisman Trophy win, and is someone I’d consider to be the top wide receiver and cornerback in the draft.

However, again, the quarterback position is the most important in football, and the Titans need one.

Watch for this scenario in the draft: The Browns draft Hunter No. 2 overall and later trade up into the first round to draft his college teammate and quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
