The Seattle Seahawks franchise was founded in 1974, and they have two Super Bowl titles, winning Super Bowls 48 and 60.

Since their first Super Bowl win, the Seahawks have been a reliable team in NFL betting, as they’ve had only one losing season. Today, their football odds are available on online sports betting platforms like BetMGM.

With so much success, I’ll list the nine best Seahawks of all time below.

1. Steve Largent

Playing for the Seahawks from 1976 to 1989, Largent was the NFL Man of the Year in 1988, was first-team All-Pro in 1985, a four-time second-team All-Pro, went to seven Pro Bowls, and led the league in receiving yards twice.

He finished his Seahawks career with 819 receptions, 13,089 yards, and 100 touchdowns. These are all Seahawks records.

The Seahawks retired his No. 80, and he’s enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

2. Walter Jones

Jones was a four-time first-team All-Pro, two-time second-team All-Pro, and nine-time Pro Bowler on the NFL 2000s and 100th Anniversary squads.

He’s in the Seahawks Ring of Honor, the Seahawks retired his No. 71, and he’s enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

3. Bobby Wagner

Drafted by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Wagner was with the team through 2021, left for 2022, and returned in 2023.

During his time with the team, he was a key cog in their Super Bowl 48 run. He was also a six-time first-team All-Pro, a three-time second-team All-Pro, went to nine Pro Bowls, led the NFL in combined tackles three times, and was tied for the lead in solo tackles in 2017.

Wagner holds Seahawks records in most tackles (1,566), solo tackles (915), assisted tackles (651), tackles for loss (79), and is tied for most fumbles returned for a touchdown (three).

4. Russell Wilson

Before being traded to the Denver Broncos, Wilson played for the Seahawks from 2012 to 2021.

During his time in Seattle, he was the starting quarterback on the Super Bowl 48-winning squad. He then led the team to the Super Bowl the very next year, but they lost to the New England Patriots.

Wilson was named NFL Man of the Year in 2020, was second-team All-Pro in 2019, and went to nine Pro Bowls.

He finished his time in Seattle with a 104-53-1 record, 3,079 completions, 4,735 attempts, 37,059 passing yards, and 292 passing touchdowns. These are all Seahawks records.

Wilson also had 846 carries (seventh in Seahawks history) for 4,689 yards (fifth) and 23 rushing touchdowns (seventh).

5. Cortez Kennedy

Playing defensive tackle, Kennedy recorded three interceptions, 11 forced fumbles, 15 passes defended, six fumble recoveries, one fumble returned for a touchdown, 58 sacks, 569 solo tackles, 100 assists, and 15 tackles for loss.

His 58 sacks are the most by a defensive tackle in Seahawks history.

He was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1992, a three-time first-team All-Pro, a two-time second-team All-Pro, and went to eight Pro Bowls.

The Seahawks retired his No. 96, and he’s enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

6. Shaun Alexander

Playing 119 games from 2000 to 2007, Alexander finished his Seahawks playing days with 2,176 carries for 9,429 rushing yards and 100 rushing touchdowns, which are all Seahawks records.

Alexander was named NFL MVP in 2005 after rushing 370 times for 1,880 yards and 27 touchdowns.

That same year, he was named Offensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Pro, won the Bert Bell Award, and led the league in rushing and scoring.

Additionally, he was a second-team All-Pro and went to three Pro Bowls.

Between 2001 and 2005, he never finished with fewer than 14 rushing touchdowns in a single season.

7. Richard Sherman

Sherman is the defensive player I’d consider the head of the “Legion of Boom” defence for the Seahawks in the early-to-mid 2010s. Between the 2012 and 2014 seasons, the Seahawks finished each year allowing fewer than 200 passing yards per game.

Playing from 2011 to 2017 with the Seahawks, Sherman recorded 32 interceptions (tied for fourth) for 395 yards, two pick-sixes, 99 passes defended (second), five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, 280 solo tackles, 88 assists, six tackles for loss, and two quarterback hits.

He won Super Bowl 48, was a three-time first-team All-Pro, two-time second-team All-Pro, a five-time Pro Bowler, and led the league in interceptions in 2013 with eight.

8. Kenny Easley

Easley played for the Seahawks from 1981 to 1987 and was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1984.

He was also a four-time first-team All-Pro, a second-team All-Pro, and a five-time Pro Bowler. Additionally, he led the league in interceptions in 1984 with 10.

Easley finished his career with 32 interceptions, three pick-sixes, and eight sacks.

He’s enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the Seahawks have retired his No. 45.

9. Earl Thomas

Thomas was with the Seahawks from 2010 to 2018 after being drafted 14th overall by the team in the first round.

Along with a Super Bowl 48 win, Thomas was a three-time first-team All-Pro, two-time second-team All-Pro, and went to six Pro Bowls.

He ranks fifth in Seahawks history in interceptions (28), seventh in tackles (664), and fourth in Pro Bowls (six).
