Across the history of the Seattle Seahawks, they’ve had a number of incredible linebackers that have not only improved their NFL futures odds, but their weekly football lines and sites like the BetMGM online sportsbook.

Here, I’ll list the seven best linebackers to suit up for them.

Greatest Seattle Seahawks Linebackers

7. Keith Butler

Butler played his entire career with the Seahawks, spanning from 1978 to 1987.

He recorded 813 tackles, eight interceptions, and 11.5 sacks.

Butler is a member of the Seahawks’ 50-best players list.

6. Fredd Young

While Young was only with the Seahawks for a few seasons (1984 to 1987), he had a massive impact.

He was a two-time first-team All-Pro and went to the Pro Bowl every season he was there.

The Seahawks traded Young to the Indianapolis Colts for two first-round picks, but he retired three years later due to injuries.

5. Rufus Porter

After going undrafted in 1988, Porter signed with the Seahawks and remained with the team through 1994.

He had 388 combined tackles, 37.5 sacks, and three interceptions en route to being named a first-team All-Pro and two Pro Bowl appearances.

4. Lofa Tatupu

Tatupu was a second-round pick by the Seahawks in 2005 and remained with the team through 2010.

He was a first-team All-Pro, three-time Pro Bowler, and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie team.

3. K.J. Wright

Wright spent a decade with the Seahawks from 2011 to 2020 after getting drafted No. 99 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.

He was a member of the Super Bowl 48-winning squad, was a Pro Bowler in 2016, and is a member of the Seahawks’ 50-best players list.

2. Chad Brown

Brown was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but arrived in Seattle in 1997 and stayed until 2004. While there, he was a first-team All-Pro, went to two Pro Bowls, and was named to the Seahawks’ 35th Anniversary squad.

Brown is second among all Seahawks’ linebackers in solo tackles (593).

1. Bobby Wagner

It’s not even close: Wagner is the best Seahawks linebacker ever. He won Super Bowl 48 with the team, was a six-time first-team All-Pro, a three-time second-team All-Pro, led the NFL in combined tackles three times, and also went to nine Pro Bowls.

Wagner is the Seahawks’ all-time leader in solo tackles (942).
