The Purdue Boilermakers have never won an NCAA Tournament, but they were the Premo-Porretta champions in 1932 — the championship before the tournament.
In the tournament era, they were runner-ups in 1969 and made two Final Fours (1969, 1980) and five Elite Eights (1969, 1980, 1994, 2000, and 2019).
In the 2023 NCAA Tournament, they were the second team to be upset by a No. 16 seed, losing to Fairleigh-Dickinson 63-58. This certainly had a massive impact on basketball lines wagers that day and, with Purdue out of the tournament, moving forward.
Still, there are plenty of star players to come through those doors in West Lafayette, Indiana, and below I’ll list the top seven players in program history.
