1. Doug Smith
Smith played for Missouri from 1987 to 1991.
Over his 128 games and 113 starts, he averaged 17.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.4 steals, and one block per game.
He averaged a double-double as a senior, with 23.6 points and 10.4 rebounds.
He was a consensus second-team All-American, second-team team All-American, third-team All-American, two-time Big Eight Player of the Year, and two-time first-team All-Big Eight.
He scored 2,184 points (second most in program history), had 1,053 rebounds (second), and 178 steals (tied for fifth).
The program retired his No. 34.
2. Derrick Chievous
Over his four-year career at Missouri from 1984 to 1988, Chievous scored 2,580 points (first) and had 979 rebounds (fourth).
During the 1986-87 season, he scored 821 points, the single-season Tigers record.
Chievous averaged 19.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
His best season came as a junior when he averaged 24.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
He was second-team All-American and third-team All-American, and the program retired his No. 3.
3. Anthony Peeler
Peeler was a consensus second-team All-American, third-team All-American, Big Eight Player of the Year, and two-time first-team All-Big Eight over his career at Missouri from 1988 to 1992.
Over his four seasons, he averaged 16.8 points, 4.2 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game.
He scored 1,970 points (third), had 497 assists (second), and 196 steals (tied for first).
4. Jon Sundvold
Sundvold played at Missouri from 1979 to 1983. As a senior, he averaged 17.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 0.6 steals per game.
Sundvold had 382 assists (seventh).
Fun fact: Sundvold is just one of two Tigers to play on four consecutive Big Eight Conference title squads.
He was consensus second-team All-American in 1983, and the Tigers retired his No. 20.
5. Steve Stipanovich
A big man, Stipanovich played for the Tigers from 1979 to 1983. During his time there, he was a consensus second-team All-American and Big Eight co-Player of the Year, and the program retired his No. 40.
Stipanovich recorded 149 blocks (third), 984 rebounds (third), and scored 1,836 points (fourth).
Across 123 starts in 128 games, he averaged 14.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.
