1. Jerry Harkness

Harkness attended Loyola from 1960 to 1963. In his final season, he led the Ramblers to their first and only NCAA title. They beat Cincinnati in overtime to secure the win. 

He was also a consensus All-American. 

Over his three seasons, he averaged 21.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. 

He had 1,749 points (sixth in program history). 

The program retired his No. 15. 

2. Alfredrick Hughes

Hughes played four seasons at Loyola from 1981 to 1985 and scored 2,914 points (first), 982 rebounds (tied for fourth), and 140 steals (10th). 

He was a third-team All-American and three-time Horizon League Player of the Year. 

He averaged 24.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game.

The program retired his No. 21.

3. Les Hunter

Hunter had 1,017 rebounds from 1961 to 1964 (first). Of those, 427 came during the 1963-64 season, the most in a single season in Loyola history. 

He was a member of the 1963 national title team. 

Hunter averaged 17.1 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. 

His No. 41 was retired by the program. 

4. Vic Rouse

Rouse was also a 1963 national title team member and was an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American. He played for Loyola from 1961 to 1964. 

He had 982 rebounds, the fourth most in Loyola history. 

Rouse averaged 14.3 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. 

Loyola retired his No. 40. 

5. LaRue Martin

Martin was at Loyola from 1969 to 1972, averaging 18.2 points and 15.9 rebounds per game. 

Martin had 1,062 rebounds over his career (first) and holds the single-game rebounding record with 34 against Valparaiso during the 1970-71 season. 

He went on to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 1972 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. 

His No. 20 was retired by the program.
