1. Doug McDermott
Making my list at No. 1 is a player who most recently played for the Bluejays in McDermott. He played four seasons for them, averaging 21.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He shot 55% from the floor and 45.8% from the 3-point range.
In his senior season, he averaged 26.7 points per game.
He was the 2014 National College Player of the Year and scoring leader. Additionally, he was a three-time first-team All-American, two-time Lute Olson Award winner, two-time MVC Player of the Year, Big East Player of the Year, and more.
2. Paul Silas
Playing three seasons for the Bluejays, Silas averaged 20.5 points and 21.6 rebounds per game.
His points per game average dropped to 18.5 in his final season after suffering an injury. Still, he averaged 21.8 rebounds.
He was the rebounding leader in 1963, and his No. 35 was retired by the team.
3. Benoit Benjamin
Standing 7 feet, Benjamin played three seasons for the Bluejays in the early 1980s. He averaged 17.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 4.6 blocks per game.
4. Kyle Korver
A 3-point specialist, Korver shot 45.3% from beyond the arc, averaging 6.4 shots per game from deep. Across four seasons, he averaged 14.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
In addition to his No. 25 being retired, he was second-team All-MVC, a two-time first-team All-MVC, and a two-time MVC Player of the Year.
5. Neil Johnson
Johnson averaged 16.8 points and 12 rebounds across 33 games in two seasons. He shot 42.7% from the floor. He was a member of the 1964 Sweet Sixteen roster.
6. Hoot Gibson
Turning the clock to the 1950s, Gibson averaged 20.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game across three seasons. He shot over 50% from the floor and 72.7% from the free-throw line.
7. Anthony Tolliver
In addition to being a two-time All-MVC, he played four seasons for Creighton. He began starting games as a sophomore. In his final two seasons, he averaged at least 13.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game.
