Arkansas Razorbacks All-Time Greatest Basketball Players
1. Corliss Williamson
Williamson played for Arkansas from 1992 to 1995. During his stint, he was part of the 1994 national title team.
Additionally, he was the Final Four Most Outstanding Player, a two-time consensus second-team All-American, the SEC Male Athlete of the Year, and a two-time SEC Player of the Year.
Over his career, he averaged 19 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals, and one block per game.
During those three years, he scored 1,728 points (eighth in program history). He also holds the No. 3 (764 in 1994-95) and No. 5 (695 in 1993-94) spots in the single-season scoring history books.
After a storied career, the program retired his No. 34, one of only two jerseys retired by the school.
2. Sidney Moncrief
Moncrief played at Arkansas from 1975 to 1979, with 2,066 points (second) and 1,015 rebounds (first).
Over his four seasons there, he averaged 16.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, two assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
Moncrief was a consensus first-team All-American, second-team All-American, third-team All-American, and was the SWC Player of the Year.
As mentioned, Williamson was one of two players to have his jersey number retired by the school.
The other? Moncrief’s No. 32.
3. Todd Day
Day played four seasons with Arkansas from 1988 to 1992, averaging 18.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.
As a senior, he averaged 22.7 points, seven rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.
He was second-team All-American (by NABC and the Associated Press), third-team All-American (by NABC and the Associated Press), two-time first-team All-SWC, and first-team All-SEC.
Day is the Razorbacks all-time leading scorer with 2,395 points. He also had 673 rebounds (ninth), 319 assists (eighth), and 271 steals (second).
4. Joe Johnson
Johnson played two seasons at Arkansas from 1999 to 2001, averaging 15 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.
He was second-team All-SEC, SEC Rookie of the Year, and was part of the SEC All-Freshman Team. He was also an honorable mention All-American.
Johnson was the leader of the 2000 squad that won the SEC championship.
5. Lee Mayberry
Mayberry played for the Razorbacks from 1988 to 1992. While there, he was third-team All-American, two-time first-team All-SWC, and first-team All-SEC.
He scored 1,940 points (third), 729 assists (second), and 291 steals (first).
Mayberry averaged 14 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.
