Warriors vs. Timberwolves Predictions & Best Bets for Game 5
The Timberwolves outscored the Warriors 39-17 in the third quarter, which essentially helped them secure the win. Anthony Edwards dropped 16 points in the period, finishing the game with 30 points, five assists, and four rebounds.
Jimmy Butler had 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists for the Warriors, curiously shooting the ball just nine times, especially with Stephen Curry out of the lineup.
Unless Butler is planning to have a big-time revenge game at the Target Center, I’m not quite sure why he’d only get off nine shot attempts in a game, especially since there are no other big-time shot creators by his side.
Edwards and Randle are playing some of their best basketball at the right time, and they don’t appear ready to stop anytime soon. Considering that, I’m adding the Timberwolves to cover the -11.5 spread to my basketball parlays, as I have a feeling they’re going to want to give their home fans something big to cheer about before the next round.
