While all of the Toronto Raptors’ starting lineup is under contract for 2026-27, Toronto still has several potential free agents in the 2026 offseason.
None of these players will be among the basketball betting favourites for MVP at the BetMGM sportsbook, but there are some important rotation pieces that could be playing elsewhere next season.
Which Toronto Raptors Are Free Agents in 2026?
Garrett Temple (UFA)
Heading into his age-40 season, there’s a good chance Garrett Temple retires this summer.
Temple played 73 total minutes for the Raptors in 2025-26.
Sandro Mamukelashvili (Player Option)
After playing a key role as a rotational big in 2025-26, Sandro Mamukelashvili is almost guaranteed to turn down his $2.8 million player option.
Mamukelashvili shot 38.9% from 3, and the Raptors were +5.2 in his minutes. A lack of financial flexibility could make it difficult for the Raptors to retain Mamukelashvili.
Jonathan Mogbo (Team Option)
Drafted at the start of the second round in 2024, Jonathan Mogbo played 1,286 minutes for the Raptors in 2024-25.
Mogbo only played 249 regular-season minutes in 2025-26.
Jamal Shead (RFA/Team Option)
Toronto acquired Jamal Shead in the 2024 offseason in a trade with the Sacramento Kings. Shead is a limited offensive player, but he’s a strong defender on the perimeter and averaged 8.6 assists per 36 possessions in 2025-26.
If Shead can improve his shooting touch, he could be a long-term answer at the one for the Raptors.
Trayce Jackson-Davis (Team Option)
The Raptors sent a second-round pick to the Golden State Warriors for Trayce Jackson-Davis. Toronto has a $2.4 million team option for Jackson-Davis this offseason.
The undersized centre only played 85 minutes as a Raptor.
A.J. Lawson (UFA)
A.J. Lawson was converted to a standard contract with the Raptors in April 2026. He’s a free agent this summer and could re-sign with Toronto on a league minimum deal.
Lawson has played 50 games for the Raptors across the last two seasons.
Chucky Hepburn (RFA)
Undrafted last summer, Chucky Hepburn landed a two-way contract with the Raptors.
Hepburn spent most of the season with Raptors 905.
Alijah Martin (RFA)
Alijah Martin was selected 39th overall in the 2025 draft. Toronto acquired the pick in the trade that sent Jalen McDaniels to the Kings.
Martin played 146 regular-season minutes for the Raptors in 2025-26.
