Raptors vs. Cavaliers Game 6 Prediction

I predict the Cavaliers will win Game 6 of this series.

Cleveland struggled on the road in Games 3 and 4, but they surged down the stretch in Game 5 and should be able to get the better of a hobbled Raptors team.

Raptors vs. Cavaliers Game 6 Best Bets

Brandon Ingram was restricted to 11 minutes on Wednesday and is listed day-to-day for Game 6. Scottie Barnes is banged up, Immanuel Quickley is out for the series, and Sandro Mamukelashvili tweaked his knee in the third quarter.

Already at a talent deficit, the Raptors are simply overmatched without Ingram and Quickley. A hobbled Ingram would still leave Toronto short on half-court shot creation – the Raptors’ offence ground to a halt in Game 5 with no one able to generate good looks for themselves or teammates.

Barnes had 11 assists in Game 5. If he’s good to go on Friday, I predict he will hit his assists over and play 40-plus minutes. Toronto needs his playmaking if their offence is to generate anywhere near enough points. RJ Barrett also has a key role to play attacking closeouts and getting easy buckets in transition — I predict the former New York Knick will score 20+ points.

Understandably, the Cavaliers showed no respect for Jamal Shead as a shooter in Game 5. Shead has struggled mightily from the field for the majority of this series, and Cleveland will continue to sag off him. Shead is going to have to get shots up, though, so I predict he will make 2+ 3s.
