The Nets come in losers of 14 of their last 16 games, as they clearly have their eyes toward the future.

Cameron Johnson is capable of going off on any given night, given his ability to hit the 3-pointer and get to the rim. Nic Claxton can also apply a ton of pressure at the rim and make life difficult for opposing offences to score in the paint.

It wouldn’t be a shock to see the Raptors give some of their key stars and veterans either the night off or less run in this game, as neither team in this matchup will be competing for a championship this season.

Immanuel Quickley had 21 points and seven assists in Toronto’s win over Washington, and this game could provide a golden opportunity for him to keep his string of good performances going.

Who Is the Best Player on the Raptors Right Now?

Scottie Barnes is the best player on the Raptors right now.

Barnes was held to just 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting, 10 rebounds, eight assists, three steals, and two blocks in Toronto’s win over Washington, but he was averaging 20.6 points per game on 53.7% shooting in the five games prior.

The Florida State product has seemed to pick his game up offensively again, which will be important if the Raptors hope to keep him as their centrepiece for the future.

Barnes’ defence and playmaking skills are an incredible asset to any team, especially at his height, but he’ll truly be dangerous once he gets a more consistent offensive game, even if his shooting isn’t as seamless as Kevin Durant’s.
